How to Install Your Calendar
Be careful to create a new calendar into which you will install the download. If you add the download to an existing calendar, the operation cannot be undone. Do not, for example, install the download into your work calendar unless that is where you want it to be.
When you order your calendar, the calendar will be sent to you as an email attachment. The file is an ".ics" file and will look something like this: Visitation-f-3-6-3-s-6-6.ics.
You should download the file onto your laptop or desktop. After you have installed the calendar, you should sync your mobile devices.
Here are the instructions for importing the .ics file:
When you dowload the file, it might automatically open iCal for installation. If it does not, click on the file.
If a download dialogue pops up, select iCal from the "Open with" option, then click "OK."
Select the calendar where you would like that you would like to add the calendar, or create a new calendar ("Visitation") and click "OK."
Double-click on the file. It should import as a new calendar in Outlook.
If the file does not import automatically, go to File > Import and Export.
Select "Import an iCalendar (.ics)" and click "Next."
Locate the file and click "Open."
Into Google Calendar
Navigate your browser to your http://www.google.com/calendar and log in to your account.
In the "Other calendars" panel on the left hand side, click on the "Add" link at the bottom right and select "Import Calendar" from the menu that appears.
Follow Google's instructions for importing the calendar.
